Lift Inspections

Annual lift safety inspections, recommended by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI), are crucial for ensuring the safe operation of your lifts and for maintaining compliance with OSHA work safety requirements. SAR offers comprehensive lift inspections that align with the inspection points recommended by manufacturers and adhere to the guidelines established in ANSI/ALI ALOIM: 2020 Standard for Automotive Lifts – Safety Requirements for Operation, Inspection, and Maintenance. Our technicians are qualified lift inspectors as per the standards set forth by ALI. Upon the successful completion of the lift inspection, you will receive a Lift Certificate to officially document that the lift is in a safe working condition at the time of inspection.

In addition to our standard lift safety inspections, SAR also provides the option for ALI certified lift inspectors to perform ALI lift inspections upon request. These ALI inspections are more comprehensive, offering a more detailed examination of your equipment.

Paint Booth Programs

At SAR, we understand the unique challenges that collision centers face in today’s marketplace. You’ve made significant investments in your paint equipment to meet these challenges, and the optimal operation of this equipment is crucial for your success. Our goal is to ensure that your paint booths, paint prep decks, and associated paint equipment are well-maintained and fully operational to deliver the results you require. SAR offers a range of maintenance programs, all with one goal in mind: to keep your collision center operating at maximum productivity.

The Value Proposition

The cost of a collision center not operating at maximum capacity is significant. Even with just one less car being completed in a day, the financial loss is substantial. On average, a single car less per day can lead to lower daily sales of $2,000. Over a year with a production schedule of 5 days per week and 52 weeks per year, this amounts to a staggering $520,000 in lost sales. How does this happen? Factors such as dirty and infrequently changed filters, burners not functioning at the correct settings, inefficiently running motors, fans impaired by overspray buildup, and poor lighting due to burned-out or overspray-covered lights can all contribute to reduced production and, subsequently, decreased sales. In addition, inadequate care can lead to a shorter lifespan for your equipment, necessitating significant expenses for new equipment prematurely.

The Programs

SAR offers four levels of preventative maintenance programs, each centered around our industry-leading 14-point inspection. This comprehensive inspection includes numerous adjustments and modifications to ensure that your equipment is operating at its highest efficiency. Additionally, we provide filter programs in various degrees, with our experienced technicians scheduled to visit your collision center to replace old filters with new, clean ones. We also offer filter sales and delivery to your facility for your convenience. To eliminate overspray, maintain fan and motor efficiency, and enhance visibility, we offer an annual pressure washing program. As an extra service, you can choose to add a booth coating to keep your booth clean and reflective, ensuring proper lighting.
